What does self-care mean to you? Do you make this a priority in your life?
Unfortunately, most of us are too busy to really prioritize self-care & time out. We have a habit of just continuing on with life, with its busyness & demands.
Many of us do not even know what self-care means.. This monthly 2 + hour workshop is about understanding and creating a little more self-care and self-love time in each & every day.
Our nervous systems and spine are crucial for overall health and vitality. Unfortunately, we can overstimulate these systems through poor dietary choices, lack of movement, work & life stressors…which leads to symptoms of fatigue, pain and muscle tightness and mental imbalances.
Each monthly workshop will consist of helping our nervous system and spine re-balance through gentle yoga including restorative & yin poses, breath work and mindfulness mediation exercises.
We will finish each session with a delicious healthy treat and warm herbal tea. This fika time will allow each of us to connect as a community, with the opportunity to share how you felt during the practice & ask any dietary or health tips.
Each workshop will run once at month, with each month being a different theme.
16th of February: Surrender to Yin; during this 2 hour self-care workshop we will take the time to slow down, deeply stretch & connect within.
23d of March: Creating space;during this workshop we will work with creating more spaciousness in our yoga practice and how we can create more space for joy & happiness in our daily life.
13th of April: Gentle spring yoga; spring is a perfect time to de-clutter the mind & detox the whole body. This workshop will include, gentle pranayama (breathing) exercises & detoxifying yoga positions.
This workshop is for all levels and ages!
